Tonneau Cover Fit But Truck Bed Had to be Modified

I was told this cover worked on my truck but I had to buy aftermarket brackets for the front of the bed. The existing factory brackets are too large and will not allow the side rails to be attached to the bed. Bought the modified brackets ($100 w shipping). Found out the modified brackets wouldn't work either. They are 3/8" thick which prevented the cover from fitting within the rails. Had to send the aftermarket brackets back for a refund. Wound up manufacturing my own brackets and installed the cover. Having the multi-function tailgate made the installation much more difficult. I don't think there's a tonneau cover that works with a truck that has the multi-function tailgate. Be prepared to find an alternate means to replace the forward brackets if you want to install the cover. My cover is not very water tight either. had water dripping into the bed from the segments of the cover. My last bakflip didn't have any leaking issues. Not sure what I'm going to do...Cover looks great just not water resistant.
