AMP Retractable steps

This is my 2nd set of these steps, I ordered the Rough Country steps but when they came I realized they didn't retract down as far as the AMP Plus the wiring harness is not as good as AMP. RC uses magnets with exposed wiring for the opening and closing of the steps. So I returned those and got the AMP. I only considered the RC due to being almost 1/2 the price. I really liked the AMP on my other truck and after installing these again I'm glad I spent the extra money. I also ordered the pass thru harness, well worth it. I will say RC was very nice when I returned the steps, they gave me 100% credit. If you only want your steps to drop 6" and don't mind the magnet thing, they are 1/2 the price.
