The BAKFlip Fibermax is another model in the extensive BAK® catalog. The leading tonneau cover manufacturer has engineered the Fibermax for exceptional durability and theft resistance, all wrapped in a sleek, low-profile package.
Rugged fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) top panels withstand impacts, abrasions, and extreme temperatures far better than comparable soft truck bed covers or aluminum top panels. When coupled with the cover’s robust aluminum substructure, the FRP panels can withstand up to 300 pounds evenly distributed, allowing you to carry boards, plywood, or practically any other oversized cargo on top of the cover.
Stylistically, the BAKFlip Fibermax features an ultra-low-profile design, with the textured gloss-black FRP panels sitting practically flush with your pickup’s bed rails. When viewing your pickup’s profile, the flush-mount bed cover practically vanishes for a sleek, subtle appearance. The cover’s outer panels are also highly UV resistant, ensuring years of fade-free service.
The BAKFlip Fibermax offers exceptional security—far more than comparable soft tonneau covers. The bed cover’s rigid FRP top panels are cut and puncture-resistant, withstanding most break-in attempts. Additionally, the Fibermax offers superior weather-proofing thanks to its EPDM rubber hinges and perimeter seals, keeping water out of your truck’s bed. An internal water channel helps to redirect any liquid that finds a way past the seals, guiding it down the tracks and out integrated drain hoses.
Using the BAKFlip Fibermax is a breeze. With the tailgate unlocked and open, reach under the cover to access the release cables. Once unlatched, fold the cover forward and secure it in either the ⅔ open position or fold it once more against the rear window for full cargo access. If you’d like to drive in this position, engage the integrated prop rods and you’re ready to drive.
Installation is just as easy using the Fibermax’s included clamps, hardware, and instructions. No drilling or modifying is required—simply unbox, bolt-on, and go.
