A locking latch is used to open the cover. This latch is secured with a keyed lock. No drilling is required to install the Full Metal Jackrabbit on most trucks. The cover can be locked in place every 12 inches for partial bed access. Drain tubes are built into the bottom of the Full Metal JackRabbit's canister to prevent water accumulation. Black powder coat is applied to the aluminum panels of the cover for a great looking, long-lasting finish.
