The BAKFlip F1 is a premium hard-folding tonneau cover from the experts at BAK®, offering a sleek, low-profile design, a simple bolt-on installation ripe for DIY-ers, and exceptional impact, theft, and moisture resistance.
The BAKFlip F1 is aesthetically similar to BAK’s best-selling BAKFlip G2, although it features one key difference—the substitution of high-density foam-core panels in place of the G2’s solid-core aluminum panels.
Though retaining aluminum lower skins, the BAKFlip F1 employs heavy-duty FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) top skins for superior durability. Not only are these panels aesthetically pleasing, with their glossy textured finish, but they’re also impact-resistant with their rigid high-density foam core. The panels are also exceptionally stout, withstanding up to 400 pounds of evenly distributed cargo.
This cover features high-quality aluminum side rails for added strength and an easy clamp-on installation. This design also promotes security—when closed, the cover automatically latches into the aluminum side rails, preventing thieves from prying at the cover’s sides for entry into the bed.
If inclement weather is more of a concern than theft, the BAKFlip F1 has you covered…literally. Wrap-around perimeter seals prevent moisture from seeping between the cover and bed rails, keeping your cargo clean and dry. If water manages to bypass the seals, the cover’s integrated water drainage system funnels it outside the bed through strategically placed drain tubes.
The BAKFlip F1 features a unique, ultra-low-profile design that sits nearly flush with your pickup’s bed rails. When viewing your truck from the side, the cover practically vanishes.
Operating the BAKFlip F1 is quick and easy—simply drop the tailgate, release the rear latches, and fold the F1 toward the bulkhead, exposing ⅔ of your pickup’s bed. Once the panels stack on top of one another, secure the cover with the integrated buckle straps, and you’re all set to drive. If full bed access is required, fold the cover toward the window and secure it with the integrated prop rods.
