The AMP power steps are a killer addition to my truck. I have a 2" lift to level the truck out. It is a bit tough for my vertically challenged friends and family to get in and out of the truck and often they didn't want to ride in the truck for that very reason. Install was straight forward and took me about 3.5 hrs start to finish. The only issue I had was on the passenger side pinch weld, the step for caught up by pinch weld and would not deploy. Before getting power to the steps, I did the recommended walking back and fourth on each step. This did not do the trick on passenger side. I ended up grinding an 1/8" of the pinch weld right at the front end of step. This solved the issue of it getting hung up. Wiring up the steps was a breeze too. The only thing I would change is the color of the led lights...they have a purple look to them...I would like to have seen a warmer yellow hue. Highly recommended these steps!
