Product works as designed and instructions supplemented by the videos were adequate, not exceptional. My Powerstep extremes were shipped with Motors and wiring harness for the Siemens motors but links with gear boxes and covers for the Brose motors. It took two+ weeks to get a hold of a person outside Amp Research and Tonneau Covered (ElectricStep.com) that could talk to Amp Research and tell them to send me the correct Siemens gear box and covers. I had to ask for the gear boxes and covers because I had already installed the wiring harness and changing the motors to Brose versions would have required me to remove the harness and install a new one. Warranty coverage is inadequate and when I finally got the items, I was notified two days after I received them that the items had been shipped. Both companies (Amp and Tonneau) need to work on their communication with a frustrated customer if they want to have a reputation that matches the quality of the product. Item rated five stars. Customer service: one star.
