The canister already features a compact design with angled edges for extra clearance. However, for 100% full bed access, the canister can be quickly removed without the need for any special tools. No drilling required for installation. To install the Switchblade Metal tonneau cover, the only tools that are needed is a 7/16 inch wrench and a Phillips screwdriver. The Switchblade Metal features built-in channels that work to move most of the water away from the bed and out via the draining tubes. Some vehicles may require drilling to install the draining tubes.
